1.  VENDOR DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - MICHIGAN

This technical sales organization of specialty products is seeking a manager who can manage and coordinate purchasing for the company in order to reduce global COGS via economic ordering practices. This person will also develop existing vendors to improve upon communications, quality inspection / certification, product costs and delivery and lead times.  This will include vendor visits, quality control plans to minimize incoming inspection and audits as necessary.  Sourcing is critical to this company.  They have sales people and applications engineers at the customer level.  They identify opportunities and spec in product.  The Vendor Develop-ment Manager will then source products.  This position is responsible for the purchasing department and the prototype shop.  This position is responsible for upgrading existing sources and finding new sources.    They want someone that can expand their vendor base into places like India and other low cost countries.  Prefer someone with  a college degree in business or engineering, experience with metal forming & materials or cutting tool manufacturing and previous work in purchasing would be beneficial.  Salary is dependent upon experience. 2.  INTERNATIONAL SALES - NY

This global fastener distributor is looking for a Sales person to travel Internationally. They are looking for a candidate that is very sharp, has a good presence with outstanding sales skills, experience with global accounts, and has a fastener or electronics background.  This person needs to have a lot of energy due to the travel schedule.    The company will assist with relocation. 3.  BRANCH MANAGER - WASHINGTON

A multi-branch distributor is seeking a candidate to run their Washington operation.  Responsibilities will include overseeing all inside operations, identifying new accounts, and assuring profitability of the branch.  This company sells standard and specialty fasteners to OEM accounts.  Needs to be familiar with financials and vendor managed inventory.  Company will assist in relocation. 4.  SALES/PURCHASING MANAGER - INDIANA

A manufacturer of specialty fasteners is seeking to hire a manager to oversee the Sales and Purchasing Department.  This person will define responsibilities for the Sales Department Team, represent the company to customers, develop sales plans and create strong relationships between the customers and the company.  Other responsibilities will include managing negotiations with suppliers, including price, lead-time, and quantity, directing, staffing, training, and  performance evaluations of purchasing staff, and reviewing the market environment to formulate policy and determine the company's direction. 5.  REGIONAL SALES MANAGER - SOUTHEAST

A Fortune 500 company is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to oversee a direct sales force.   Prefer someone with a minimum of 7 years of OEM and/or distribution channel sales experience selling construction or industrial products and at least 3 years of personnel management experience. The successful candidate must have extensive travel experience, solid organizational, presentation and analytical skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.  Base salary between $70,000 and $85,000 plus bonus and company car.  SOS-160711

6.  INSIDE SALES / SALES MANAGEMENT - NEW YORK
    
A QS 9000 and ISO 9002 certified company and a master distributor of fastener and non-fastener products, which include military, commercial, and electronic components is seeking an individual with fastener or electronic component sales experience. 7.  FIELD SALES - MINNESOTA

A multi-branch distributor is looking for an Outside Sales person to cover existing business. The territory includes Minnesota and part of Wisconsin.  Looking for someone with 3 to 5 years experience selling fasteners to OEM accounts.   Should  have  good  follow up
skills as well as be self-motivated. Salary includes a base around $50,000 plus commission and car.  SOS-160751

8.  ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER / SALES - INDIANA

This multi-branch distributor is looking for an assistant sales manager who will be groomed to replace the General Manager.  Qualifications include strong management experience, automotive and fastener experience.  This person will oversee office, sales and warehouse personnel as well as handle the sales of the branch.  SGS-160776

9.  INSIDE SALES - NY

A small distributor of passive electronic components and fasteners needs an Inside Sales person with two to three years experience.  The ideal candidate will have previous experience working for a distributor. This company sells to OEMS. Compensation includes a base salary between $45,000 and $55,000.  This position could lead to Inside Sales Manager.  SIS-160870

10.  INSIDE SALES - HOUSTON

This fastener company of standard and specialty fasteners is looking for an Inside Sales person with a manufacturing background.  This candidate will be responsible for estimating the cost of jobs for threaded fasteners and fully machined parts, answering phone calls for quotes, job status, and general customer service questions, suggest purchasing materials for stock, and tooling for machines, scheduling production for orders. Salary between $35,000 and $50,000 plus commission.  SIS-160682

13.  OUTSIDE SALES  - FLORIDA

A distributor of fasteners and electronic components is looking for a sales person to oversee an existing territory.  Looking for someone who has good communi-cation and presentation skills necessary to feel confident calling on all levels of an organization. Prefer someone located near the Tampa area.  Salary is around $30,000 with potential to make $50,000 to $60,000.  SOS-160371.

11.  BUYER - ILLINOIS

An International distributor is looking for a buyer for one of their offices in Illinois. Responsibilities will include sourcing standard and non-standard fasteners domestically and overseas for quality product, competitive pricing, and lead-time, expediting new part documentation/samples to ensure on time delivery from suppliers, tracking supplier on-time performance, resolving price discrepancies on invoices, and monitoring freight costs. 12.  INSIDE SALES - DALLAS/FT WORTH AREA

A distributor catering to the construction industry is in need of an Insides Sales person.  This person will have the following Administrative duties: processing incoming orders, qualifying potential customers, setting up small contract pricing, attending trades shows and / or events, overseeing PO logistics for TX, aiding in marketing & promotions for different product lines.  Salary between $40,000 and $50,000 plus a potential for 2 bonuses.  SIS-160821.

14.  QUALITY ENGINEER - SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA 

A global fastener distributor is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to work in a team environment. This person will assign, review and supervise testing of incoming material and products, monitor lab equipment functions and arrange adjustments, calibrations, preventive maintenance and repairs as needed, perform testing, document results, and write technical reports to substantiate product performance and validations, and write and implement corrective / preventive actions in response to complaints, continuous improvements or audit findings. 15.  QUALITY MANAGER - NORTHERN CALIFORNIA

A fastener distribution company is looking for a Quality Manager with at least 10 years experience in fasteners and a background in manufacturing.  This individual will manage the day-to-day quality operations of the Corporation and related facilities and ensures that quality management objectives are met. Key areas of responsibility include providing direction to the corporation for implementation of quality programs, planning and developing continuous improvement programs, providing training resources as needed to implement programs and interfacing within all levels of the company as well as with customers and suppliers.  Salary of $90,000 plus bonus.  MQC-160448

16.  DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS - MICHIGAN

This multi-plant operation is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee operations, quality, materials management, safety and continuous improvement functions for a cold forming facility.  Qualifications for this position include a degree in Engineering, 10 to 15 years experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated leader-ship experience including working hands-on, shoulder to shoulder with various levels of manufacturing personnel (i.e. direct and indirect labor), ability to make decisions that have a long term impact on: company growth, financial results, customer relationships, and associate relations on the organization, proven track record of mentoring, coaching and developing teams.   Prefer someone with experience in Six Sigma Green/Black Belt. 17.  QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER - TEXAS

A global distributor of fasteners is seeking a Quality Manager for their Texas location.  This person will be responsible for setting up a quality lab in the Texas area to assist their customers. They are looking for someone that will be able to communicate well with all levels of people from upper management to people in the warehouse. Must have strong management and people skills.    Responsibilities include quality lab supervision and throughput, customer concerns, returns and corrective action, internal audits, Quality Planning & PPAPs, ISO-9001 system support. Key skills for this position include customer interfacing, familiarity with mechanical inspection, calibration and testing,G8D, Root cause analysis and problem solving.  The candidate should also be familiar with quality management systems such as ISO-9001, TS-16949, QS-9000, FMEA, APQP, and IMDS.
